• We recommend installing a file manager from the Google Play store. We’ve had good success with File Manager from ZenUI, Asus.
• If you’re having difficulty seeing files & folders on your PC through USB, try these things:
  • Make sure the USB device drivers are installed
  • Be sure to set your USB mode to MTP on the phone
  • Try disabling and re-enabling USB debugging on the phone
  • Clear memory and cache for External Storage and Media Storage:
    1. Disconnect USB cable
    2. Go to Settings, Apps, and Show System Apps
    3. Find External Storage and Media Storage
    4. Clear data and cache on each one
    5. Reboot
    6. Wait 5 minutes after full boot up to rebuild media databases and connect to USB and select MTP
